4 week program for tweens and teens, helping them feel Confident, Positive and Awesome embracing and thriving as themselves!

*While this program is designed as a full 4 week program and participants will get the most out of attending each week, all classes are different so if you wish to only attend one or two classes you can do so with the once off/per class payments.

week 4


Theme: Reflection & celebration of your
awesome self

week 1

Theme: Get to know me & confidence

Today we define and embrace what makes you, you! We focus on confidence and empowerment and a can-do attitude with activities to support and amplify what makes you awesome!

  • Introduction & Welcome
     

  • Ice-breaker activity while sitting in a circle with cushions. Friendly, calm, open environment.
     

  • Discussion on how to feel more confident and empowered! Focus on “I can” attitude, priorities, pressures and taking back control of how you feel.
     

  • Activity - My CAN-DO List.

  • Activity - This is ME Worksheet.
     

  • Ending Circle - sharing how you’re feeling, how you want to feel by the end of the 4 weeks or something about yourself we don’t know that you wish to share.
     

  • Before we leave we say our affirmation out loud as a group “CONFIDENT, POSITIVE, AWESOME ME!” hands raise up in celebration.

week 2

Theme: Positive language & motivation

We take a look at what self-talk is, the importance of our language and how to talk to yourself and others with kindness. Touching on limiting beliefs and reframing our mindset to be positive and motivational.

  • Introduction & Welcome
     

  • Ice-breaker activity while sitting in a circle with cushions.
    Friendly, calm, open environment.
     

  • Discussion on what is self-talk, the importance of our language and how to talk to yourself and show others how to speak to you with kindness. With the use of affirmation card deck. (13-15yro group to discuss 
    limiting beliefs also).
     

  • Activity - My Self Love Motivation Board
    (scrapbooking vision board style) and 'I AM...' pebble.
     

  • Ending Circle - worthiness, what it means to you and sharing your board creation with the group.
     

  • Before we leave we say our affirmation out loud as a group “CONFIDENT, POSITIVE, AWESOME ME!” hands raise up in celebration.

Reflecting on the 4 weeks, practicing gratitude and celebrating your unique, beautiful self! A certificate ceremony and feel good class to end the program.

  • Introduction & Welcome
     

  • Ice-breaker activity while sitting in a circle with cushions. Friendly, calm, open environment. Compliment train.
     

  • Make hot chocolates with marshmallows and music to then do:
     

  • Activity - Gratitude Jar Worksheet.

  • Activity - I Reckon Reflection Worksheet.
     

  • Certificate Ceremony - hand out of certificates and gift bags to each participant. Sharing of one thing they learnt or loved during the 4 weeks.
     

  • Before we leave we say our affirmation out loud as a group “CONFIDENT, POSITIVE, AWESOME ME!” hands raise up in celebration.

week 3

Theme: Self-care & me time

Today we check-in with yourself, your feelings and what you do to ‘fill up your cup’! We look at self-care rituals and also make a DIY face mask. Highlighting the importance of your needs and knowing you’re worthy.

  • Introduction & Welcome
     

  • Ice-breaker activity while sitting in a circle with cushions. Friendly, calm, open environment.
     

  • Discussion on what is self care, do you practice it.
     

  • Activity - Self-care check-in worksheet.
     

  • Activity - My Ultimate Self-care rituals list.
     

  • Activity - DIY face mask (greek yoghurt, honey, avo).
     

  • Ending Circle - quiet time, eyes closed meditation.
     

  • Before we leave we say our affirmation out loud as a group “CONFIDENT, POSITIVE, AWESOME ME!” hands raise up in celebration.

The themes of each week and the activities are focused on building:

Resilience, self-esteem, positive mindset, self-love and self-care knowledge, empowerment, kind self-talk skills, confidence, sense of self and belonging, plus make some new friends!

ABOUT THE FACILITATOR

Ali is a Youth Empowerment Coach & Mentor for Tweens, Teens and Young Adults, focusing on helping them realise how amazing they are right now! Specialising in Self Love & Self Care, Confidence & Self Esteem, Anxiety & Stress and Body Image. Located in Perth WA.

Ali is passionate about helping young people 'fill up their cup' and EMBRACE being their unique beautiful self and know that their magic lies in their differences. 

Ali has experience working with both younger kids and older teens and brings a calming, fun and supportive energy to all her workshops and trainings, making sure each student feels comfortable and confident to be themselves and participant in group activities. Ali is currently working as a facilitator with girls 8-12 years at Girls Without Limits After School Programs as well as in their 'Unique' Primary (in-)School Program. She also works with girls 10-18 years on the Shine From Within Online Academy, while also running her own Energised Minds programs and resources. Ali is also an accredited Youth Mental Health First Aider.
